DONATION OF ITEM:     

Food entries may be donated to the Fair to be served at the Judges luncheon.  Please indicate on appropriate form.

JUDGING:

Friday, immediately following the close of registration

REMOVAL JUDGED ITEMS:

Friday, between 3:00 p. m. and 4:00 p.m.

If item is not picked up by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, the items will become the property of the Putnam County Fair Authority, Inc.

*Those items not donated nor winners may be picked up the same day as entered at 3:00 p.m.

A SHORT AWARD RECOGNITION PROGRAM WILL BE HELD SATURDAY MARCH 20, 2010, AT 12:30 P.M. IN THE ENTERTAINMENT TENT.

PICK UP OF AWARDS:    Sunday, March 28, 2010 between

 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

at the Rawson Exhibit Building

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

(See Additional Rules & Regulations that apply to this area under the Main Section of the Home Division)

1.       Entries MUST be labeled, have a copy of the recipe attached, with name, address and phone number.

2.       Any entry made from a mix will be placed in CLASS H.

3.       Any professional baker or persons employed with a baker may not enter.

4.       All items must adhere to the required amounts or designated sizes and entered on non - returnable trays, plates, etc.

5.       Premium money will be paid in cash and may be picked up starting on Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 2:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m., in the Rawson Building on the Fair Grounds.  No premium money will be paid without having completed all information on the registration form and all requirements followed.  See item #4 under the Rules and Regulations under the main Open Home Division section.

6.       The Modified Danish System is used in judging.

           

7.       All exhibits will receive a Blue, Red, or a Participant ribbon.   First and Second Place winners will be awarded a rosette and a cash prize. These winners will be picked from the Blue Ribbon winners in each class.

8.       Winning items will be on display during the fair and will not be returned to the Exhibitor.
