On Your Own – There is an FFA hot dog/coke wagon on the premises. Burger King and Hardee’s are located less than two miles from the fairgrounds. The fair concession vendors will not be open.

Following the conclusion of the contest – Time will be announced.

DIVISIONS:
Junior FFA: 6th-8th Grade Junior 4-H: 8-13 (as of September 1, 2009) Senior FFA: 9th-12th Grade Senior 4-H: 14-18 (as of September 1, 2009)
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. A judging team shall consist of four (4) bonafide 4-H or FFA members. A three (3) member team will be accepted if there are not enough participants for a four (4) person team. The scores from the three (3) highest scoring team members will be calculated for team prize awards. Multiple teams from the same organization is allowed and encouraged.
2. Team Membership: Junior and senior team age limits are based upon the registering organization. FFA members will be required to register by grade level. 4-H members will be required to register by age, as of September 1st year of the current 4-H year.
3. Scoring for the contest will be done by computer. Cards that are not filled out properly or not turned in after each class will be disqualified. If the class placing does not match in both areas on the judging card, the card will not be remarked and the contestant will receive no score for that class.
4. Each team must pre-register by Friday, March 5, 2010.
5. Teams can participate in competing in oral reasons but this is optional and participation must be indicated on registration form.
6. The optional oral reasons competition will be immediately following the regular placing. Youth will be told which classes will be reasons classes during the competition.
7. Oral reasons judges decision are final.
8. Need at least 3 teams to compete in optional oral reasons.
AWARDS DIVISIONS:
Junior 4-H members and FFA members will compete in the Junior Division for overall awards.
Senior 4-H members and FFA members will compete in the Senior Division for overall awards.
AWARDS:
A plaque will be awarded to the top team and individual in both divisions.
Rosettes will be given to the top five team members and individuals in both divisions.
ORAL REASON AWARDS:
Rosettes will be given to the top five team members and individuals in both divisions.
