Skill-a-thon is Saturday, March 5, 2022

The Skill-a-thon is MANDATORY for all Large Livestock exhibitors (Swine, Steer & Heifers). If you are showing both swine & beef, you are required to attend and participate in BOTH skill-a-thons. There is a $50 fine for any exhibitor that does not attend the appropriate skill-a-thon.

Skill-a-thon location: Ag Center Auditorium

Times by age division are as follows:

10:00 am - Junior Swine Exhibitors

10:45 am - Junior Beef Exhibitors

11:30 am - Intermediate Swine Exhibitors

12:30 pm - Intermediate Beef Exhibitors

1:30 pm - Senior Swine Exhibitors

2:15 pm - Senior Beef Exhibitors

Large Livestock Exhibitor Mandatory Meetings

If you are an exhibitor of a swine, steer or beef heifer at the Putnam County Fair you must attend one of these meetings, to be eligible to show your animal at the fair.

Mandatory meeting location: Fairgrounds Expo Hall (subject to change per local, state or federal mandates).

** If you cannot attend the meeting for your designated age group, you MUST contact Crystal McCazzio (386-329-0323) and she will discuss options and possibility of attending another meeting**

*Ages below are as of Sept. 1, 2021

JUNIOR MEETING - ages 8-10, Mon., Jan. 24, 2022 @ 6pm

INTERMEDIATE MEETING - ages 11-13, Tue., Feb. 8, 2022 @ 6pm

SENIOR MEETING - ages 14 and over, Thurs., Feb. 17, 2022 @ 6pm

Saturday, Mar. 19, 2022 @ 7pm, Fairgrounds Arena

Swine Exhibitor Meeting

Monday, Mar. 21, 2022 @ 7pm, Fairgrounds Arena

Volunteer Appreciation & Livestock Banquet

Monday, June 6, 2022 @ 6pm

Join us for a catered dinner, presentation of some final Livestock awards and sale checks, and recognition of Volunteers. Volunteers will receive an invitation in the mail.
